  1. Please make the Health History a simple Checkbox for numerous conditions - much more like a paper form. It is much too laborious for patients to enter in each and every past medical history item manually. And many patients don't think of things from a blank slate - they don't realize that a number of things in their health history could impact their therapy, so they don't include them. Checkbox and then an open-ended comment section for "Additional Information" would be the way to go!

  3. Typos happen, so if a wrong email address is inputted, currently there is not a way to know if it was delivered or not. Perhaps having it in patient history to show if the email was delivered, opened, portal account created, forms completed, etc.

  4. The character limit is limited in custom fields and not enough to be able to ask a question to be utilized in the portal. Would you be able to increase the character limit?

  5. We have the double-whammy of being in a fairly rural area and having an aging population without internet access/email. We can get around the internet issue in the clinic while they are here, but a lack of email address makes the portal problematic to use. We need some sort of workaround to allow this patient population to have access to the portal.

  6. Automatically add the date the portal invite was sent, into patient history. Not everyone has access to the system log in Admin

  7. Be able to toggle which fields should be required or not. For example, having the phone number and address field required in demographics.

  8. Looks like questions are pre-populated from from previous cases, which is great for some questions (medications). However, other questions will not need to be pre-populated as they would not be applicable for every case. If there was a way we can choose questions that need to be mapped or pre-populated and which ones should not.

  9. Portal users should be able to view statements (paperless e-statements) and pay balances through the portal. Payments through the portal should be auto-applied in TheraOffice. Adding this feature would increase adaptations of both the TheraOffice Patient Portal and TheraOffice Pay.

  10. Being able to have our patients reopen the portal after submitting to add or fix something such as medications. The other way would be for us on our end to be able to reopen the portal on those who need it so we have the control on what is in the cloud and what is not. With that being said once they fix and hit update it would delete from the cloud after we apply it to their chart as an update.

  11. We have many families that we see the mom, dad, and kiddos. The kids don't have an email address, which makes it impossible for the parents to complete their intake unless they create a new email address. That's too much to ask from the parents. If a parent can have multiple child accounts, that may solve this issue.

  12. The drop down for registration process tells the patient what section is complete or incomplete. It would be great if the patient selects the section they are taken directly to that section

    1. Importing and accepting information - If a patient adds information that was previously blank, it points to portal. however if a patient CHANGES information it points to current. The button should point to portal if the patient makes any changes.
    2. When sending information to the patient to review on the portal, you should be able to choose what you want to send. We update the case with all new insurance information, then when the patient gets it on their side, it contains the insurance information from the OLD case which isn't correct.   15. When Patient portal is accepted into the file, can that date auto-populate the release of Information and Assignment of Benefits dates in the case. This would be GREAT!

  16. Understanding that gender identification is more complicated than simply choosing "male/female/other", I think there should be more options built into the portal. The gender identification screen wouldn't have to pull forward to the insurance document, which could stay in the insurance portion of the case and determined by the staff at eval. Many transgender patients who seek physical therapy care haven't yet changed their legal ID, so their identified gender may be different from their legal ID/insurance, and it would be good to be sensitive to the difference.

  17. I would love to see an option where the patient login asks for preferred language. In our area we a heavy Spanish, Korean, Mandarin speaking population. We also run into Cantonese and Vietnamese speaking population. Any language options would be fantastic!

  18. Would like a way to see that the patient portal was delivered. Would also like to see it in the intake validator dashboard as a required task for front desk employees to perform with case creation.

    This is currently planned for the .21 update, which is scheduled to be released late spring.

  19. I would like to take the "Weave" platform and integrate that into TO. I think you guys are so creative that two way texting should and could be part of the overall success of the software. Within the platform, would be ways to have patients text to pay their bills as well as requesting google reviews.
