Ryan - did this ever happen? The ability to put the information in is there. WOuld love the software to check DOB and ***require*** that parent/guardian info be entered. Seems like a pretty simple change....

    David commented  ·

Ryan - Any thought given to this one? Seens like a pretty easy one... if age < 18, make guarantor information required fields

    David commented  ·

This information can be input in the case setup under "Guarantor". One thing that'd be really cool is to have the software check the birth date of the patient when setting up a case and make the guarantor a required field if the patient is under 18 years of age. (For me, this would be great ssince my office staff keeps forgetting to input this information - and I'm embarrassed to have been sending bills to minors). And, maybe in adminstration you can turn this checking of DOB on and off... (and if off, the gurantor field would not be a required field)?

This was posted a long time ago. I realize that it has a small number of votes - just wondering if this is something we'll see someday. The ability to build a customer form that feeds directly into theraoffice would save us so much time

Any consideration for something like this? Talk about a competitive advantage for you!! And it has 89 votes :-)

    David commented  ·

Really need this since we currently put info into our own forms, and then re-enter into TheraOffice. A few features that could help:

    * We all need our own forms, this needs to accommodate complete customization of what is captured

    * Maybe read in a multi-page PDF, and allow us to place fields into the form in the places we need them

    * Fields would be already available fields in the database, not custom fields

    * This would not replace the way information is currently input on patient setup. This would be a second way to capture the info and get it into the database

    * This also would then check for duplication of patients (as happens today when you create a new patient)

    * Would then allow for the printing of the completed form.

    * Would also need a button to re-print forms (since we make mistakes, insurances change, etc.)

    One data entry
All gets into our T.O. database
And we get our forms for intake.

    All in one step.

    David commented  ·

This could work great, but I would imagine we each have different forms that we use. Our conditions of service and consent for treatment forms likely differ from your. We also have different forms depending on whether or not it's an MVA, workers comp or regular insurance case... Whatever is done would need to accomodate companies being able to customize.

    Any update?

    David commented  ·

Would love it if you guys would offer a webinar on PQRS use within T.O. I know it's there, just do not know how to use it. And the online videos just aren't the same

    David commented  ·

Thanks, Ryan. What's involved in integrating FOTO? And what data gets passed from FOTO into TheraOffice? Would it automatically generate the G Codes for inclusion on the HCFA's? Would it also automatically include PQRS data?

    David commented  ·

Ryan - does the software already have any standardized assessment tools built in?

    David commented  ·

Thanks, Ryan. Most important I think is to make it a no-brainer for the clinician. Hopefully, the aoftware can keep track of when the codes need to be added in (e.g., every 10th visits or at reeval, eval and discharge) and promt only when needed.

    David commented  ·

I may have it wrong about what gets reported when, but 1st, 10th, every ten, at reeval and at d/c is how I understood the when...

This would be great - we keep a paper log right now and it's a bear to track

Ryan - will the emailing feature allow for electronic signatures of documents by the MD?

Ryan - is this a new feature for a future release? Or do we already have this? If it's already there, where can I find it? Thanks

I know that the purpose of archiving is to reduce database size. And that's perfect. But it would be great if in accounting and documentation a record was kept that showed that there WERE previous cases.

For example, what if the case name remained in the patient screen where cases are listed? It could have the case name, followed by the archive date. No other case information or documents, etc would remain, just the old case names would show up in the list along with non-archived cases.

Basically, just a reminder to everyone dealing with a patient that they were at the clinic previously and the condition for which they came.

    eg

    002 - Lower Back Pain - XX/XX/XXXX through YY/YY/YYYY - ARCHIVED 01/21/2011

    001 - Lateral Epicondylitis - XX/XX/XXXX through YY/YY/YYYY - ARCHIVED 04/11/2009

(Where XX/XX/XXXX is the first date of service for that case and YY/YY/YYYY is the last DOS for that case)

Rather than one by one, would be great if multiple teasks could be selected (using the control-click or shift-click) to make changes (deletion, completion, disabling, etc.)

If you are considering adding new icons, may I suggest the letters of the alphabet and numbers 0 through 9 ? We have icons and alerts for which therapist(s) to schedule a patient with. Right now we're using the colored dots; if we see a red dot, we know to schedule someone with Dr. X, green with Dr. J, etc. It would be great if instead of dots I could see the letters J or X. The letter by itself would help me to know which clinician to schedule someone with (without having to take the time to decode what my colored dot means.) Just an idea...

    David commented  ·

Or allow us to create or import new icons?

Thanks, Janel. It actually is different state by state. In some states you can not charge at all, in other states you can only charge simple interest, and in other states you can charge compounded interest. In every state, the % that you can charge is dictated by the state

    David commented  ·

Oh, and have the interest added to the account automatically based on the settings. Then it would be added to the balance due and show up as an added charge on subsequent bills.

Ryan - If building sucha community is of interest to Hands On, I will be happy to help out. My expertise (for the past 20 years) has been building partner communities (integrators, resellers, ISVs) for SW and HW companies. I'm not looking for a job, just offering some free help/advice if this is something your company wants to pursue. Big step #1: Make sure your API is robust, well documented and then published.

    David commented  ·

Until that can happen, I'd be thrilled with a forum on the support web site for "How to" questions, tips.
