I would appreciate the deductible specificity on the statements. I currently have to manually print a Microsoft Word document over the patient statement to explain special information, such as "this balance has been applied to your deductible". I realize if I utilized the Detailed statement it would remove the necessity of the special note, however when there is a high deductible and patients receive more than a few visits it is enough to make me dizzy looking at the detailed page. I prefer each line showing one visit but sometimes need the deductible information. If there could be a deductible column it would be fabulous!
This will be part of the .11 update. More details to come.
I am not concerned about specifics such as MVA, WC, PPOs, etc. That is why I have an administrative staff that screens for those. I would enjoy the "easy" stuff (permanent and local addresses, phone numbers, emergency contact info, consent to treat, agreement of payment policies, HIPAA, etc) being in typed form ready for printing and signing upon patient's initial visit to waiting room. Neato!
Great idea! Our office actually begins a new case for EVERY patient that continues from the end of one year to be beginning of another. As a result (at least in part), the administrative staff continues to work from Christmas to New Years while the clinicians take a vacation. Argh!
